KASC was founded in 1953 by Kenneth A. Steel, Sr., to produce and distribute bulk inorganic chemicals for specific industrial and municipal markets in the Chicago Midwest. Since 1980, with the succession of management to second-generation family members, KASC has continued to expand its mission to serve similar markets nationwide.
